Leading the results with a second place finish was Samax Motorsport. This was their second second place finish with Rolex 24 at Daytona being the first. Finishing fourth was Shane Lewis driving for Southard Motorsports. Shane is the lead driver for Southard and fourth is the highest finish in the Rolex Series for 2007. Finishing fifth was Alex Job Racing. It was the third top five for Alex Job Racing including a win at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. In Sixth was the #59 Brumos Racing Porsche run by Michael Colucci Racing. The #58 car consistently finished high all season but this was the highest finish for the #59 car this year.
Not finishing in the top ten is the Doran Racing team the finished 14th. Their 14th place finish does not reflect the job the team did during or prior to the race. The team made a bold move before the race to switch from a pull rod suspension to a push rod suspension. It paid off with a 6th place qualifying position and a car as high as 3rd in the race.
2008 looks to be another exciting year.
